David W. Joncas

David is a Managing Director and co-founder of Aeris Partners. David has 30 years of technology industry and investment banking experience and a distinguished M&A track record spanning a range of high-growth application software and SaaS verticals including Healthcare IT (HCIT), PharmaTech, Retail & Hospitality, ConstructionTech, Supply Chain and Energy & Power, among others. David has extensive experience advising leading private equity, venture capital and founder-owned companies on a range of strategic M&A, majority and minority growth equity recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, and private placement transactions.

Prior Experience

Prior to Aeris, David was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking at Harris Williams & Co., where he helped launch and build the firm’s technology practice and was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Previously, David was a Senior Vice President with Broadview International (later Jefferies Broadview) and a Manager with Accenture’s PeopleSoft practice. Previously, David co-founded Wheels for America, a 4,100 mile cross-country bicycling and fundraising event in support of cancer research, education and prevention, and was recognized as a “40 under 40” investment banking professional.
