J. Gray Eklund

Gray is a Managing Director at Aeris Partners, with more than a decade of technology investment banking and M&A experience. He has advised across a broad range of high-growth software and SaaS sectors, including Enterprise Financial Management (Office of the CFO), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Financial Services Technology—spanning BankTech, InsurTech, and Capital Markets Tech.  Gray has advised private equity, venture capital and founder-owned companies on a broad range of strategic transactions—including strategic M&A, majority and minority recapitalizations, and private placements.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Aeris, Gray was a Director in the Technology Investment Banking group at Piper Sandler where his advisory experience spanned Fintech, HRTech, Sales and Marketing Tech, and Data and Information Services sectors, among others. Gray began his investment banking career at Rutberg & Company and previously worked as a Derivatives Trader at Ronin Capital.
